The Brown County Rock and Mineral club was founded in __ by a group of like-minded rock enthusiasts. Since then, the club has continued to grow to a total of _ members in 2024. Operating as a 501c3 non-profit organization and led by our elected board, a typical meeting includes reading the minutes, old and new business, reports from volunteer committees, and other general club housekeeping. Each month, we also feature a presentation either from a guest speaker or a club member. We discuss upcoming field trip opportunities, give a warm welcome to newcomers, and then we get to "show and tell" about some of our favorite trips and treasures!
To become a member, you must 1) pay an annual fee of $10 (per household) and 2) attend 1 monthly club meeting. To get your membership, join us as at one of our meetings at the Brown County History Center on the third Saturday of every month!
